Cyclect Group was recognised at the Singapore Armed Forces Day Combined Rededication Ceremony 2016 (East Zone), held at Matrix @ Biopolis and organised by the Singapore Manufacturing Federation.
The event, presided over by Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong as Guest of Honour, acknowledged the contributions of organisations that actively support National Service and the Singapore Armed Forces through workplace policies, reservist facilitation, and employer commitments to NS obligations.
Cyclect received a token of appreciation plaque from Minister Wong, reflecting the group’s record of supporting its employees’ NS obligations. For an engineering group with a substantial skilled workforce, maintaining a culture that accommodates NS commitments is both a civic responsibility and an indicator of organisational values.
The recognition was presented within a broader national framework affirming that Singapore’s security depends on the commitment of both individuals and employers to sustaining a capable defence force.
