Marine vessels and industrial assets cannot wait for slow repair cycles. When a motor fails, a switchboard develops a fault, or a generator requires overhaul, operators need a service partner with the workshop depth to execute properly and the field capability to mobilise immediately. Fragmented MRO – where diagnosis, workshop repair, field execution and recommissioning are handled by different parties – introduces delays, accountability gaps and return-to-service uncertainty.
Cyclect delivers asset MRO under one accountable platform, connecting diagnosis, workshop execution, field intervention, testing and recommissioning without handoffs between teams.
Two Workshops. Full Electrical and Mechanical Coverage.
Our primary MRO hub is our Tuas workshop in Singapore – a 40,000 sq ft facility equipped with a 40-ton overhead crane, dynamic balancing equipment, motor test benches and a full complement of winding, machining and assembly capability. Our second workshop in Tuas WS2 extends our regional service reach and provides capacity for concurrent large-scope overhaul programmes.
Both workshops operate under documented quality procedures with full testing and certification on every job. Work is not released without test data.
VPI and High Voltage Testing Capability
Our Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) facility handles motor and generator winding insulation treatment to the standard required for critical rotating equipment. VPI-treated windings deliver superior insulation integrity, moisture resistance and service life compared to conventional dip-and-bake processes – important for assets operating in marine, offshore and humid industrial environments.
Our high voltage testing capability covers insulation resistance, high potential (hipot) testing, polarisation index measurement and partial discharge assessment. This allows full electrical characterisation of motors, generators and switchgear before and after repair – confirming fitness for service and providing baseline data for future condition monitoring.
Field Capability and Regional Reach
Workshop depth is only part of the equation. Our field teams deploy for onboard vessel work, dry-dock support, onsite plant intervention and emergency breakdown response. We support Class A shipowners including Maersk, with 1-day emergency mobilisation capability from Singapore. Regional service nodes in Batam, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Qingdao, Zhoushan and Shekou extend our reach for operators across the region.
Assets we service include AC and DC motors, generators, switchboards, transformers, variable speed drives, HVAC plant, lifting equipment and industrial control systems – across marine, offshore, semiconductor, petrochemical and general manufacturing sectors.
If you have an asset requiring emergency repair, a planned overhaul programme, or an ongoing maintenance arrangement, speak with our MRO team.
