This Privacy Statement explains how Cyclect Holdings Pte Ltd and, where applicable, its related corporations, associated companies, subsidiaries and affiliates collect, use, disclose, protect and retain Personal Data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore.

This Privacy Statement applies to Personal Data collected through cyclect.com, Cyclect-controlled subdomains, campaign pages, landing pages, career pages, digital forms, newsletter subscriptions, website analytics tools, marketing tools, CRM systems and other online interactions with Cyclect.

By accessing our website, submitting information to us, signing up for updates, applying for a role, or otherwise interacting with us, you acknowledge that Cyclect may collect, use and disclose your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

“Cyclect”, “we”, “us” or “our” means Cyclect Holdings Pte Ltd and, where the context permits, its related corporations, associated companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, business units, officers, employees, contractors, agents, advisers and service providers.

“Personal Data” means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which Cyclect has or is likely to have access.

“Site” means cyclect.com and all Cyclect-controlled websites, subdomains, campaign pages, landing pages, career pages, forms and online content.

“PDPA” means the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore, as amended from time to time.


2. Personal Data We May Collect

Depending on your interaction with Cyclect, we may collect Personal Data including:

  1. your name;
  2. company name;
  3. job title or designation;
  4. business address;
  5. email address;
  6. telephone number;
  7. country or location;
  8. enquiry details submitted through contact forms;
  9. newsletter subscription preferences;
  10. event or campaign registration details;
  11. employment and recruitment information, including CVs, resumes, work history, qualifications, certifications, references, expected salary and other information submitted for job applications;
  12. website usage information, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referral source, clickstream data and online identifiers;
  13. information collected through cookies, pixels, tags, reCAPTCHA, analytics tools, CRM tracking tools and similar technologies; and
  14. any other Personal Data that you voluntarily provide to us.

We generally do not intend to collect sensitive Personal Data through our website unless necessary for recruitment, legal, compliance, security or other legitimate business purposes, or where you voluntarily provide such information.


3. How We Collect Personal Data

Cyclect may collect Personal Data in the following ways:

  1. when you submit an enquiry through our website;
  2. when you contact us by email, telephone, messaging platform, online form or other communication channel;
  3. when you subscribe to newsletters, updates, campaigns or event communications;
  4. when you submit a job application, CV, resume or recruitment-related information;
  5. when you interact with our employees, representatives, agents or service providers;
  6. when you attend Cyclect events, briefings, meetings or business activities;
  7. when you browse or use our Site;
  8. when cookies, analytics tools, tracking technologies or security tools collect technical and usage information;
  9. when we receive information from business partners, recruitment agencies, referees, service providers or publicly available sources; and

Where you provide Personal Data relating to another individual, you represent and warrant that you have obtained that individual’s consent or are otherwise authorised to provide such Personal Data to Cyclect for the relevant purposes.


4. Purposes for Collection, Use and Disclosure

Cyclect may collect, use and disclose Personal Data for purposes including:

  1. responding to enquiries, requests and feedback;
  2. managing business communications and customer relationships;
  3. providing information about Cyclect’s services, solutions, capabilities, events, updates and activities;
  4. sending newsletters, marketing communications and business updates where permitted by law;
  5. administering website forms, campaign pages and landing pages;
  6. managing recruitment, job applications, candidate assessment, interviews, reference checks and employment-related processes;
  7. verifying information provided to us;

5. Marketing Communications and Do Not Call Requirements

Cyclect may send you marketing, promotional or business update communications where permitted under the PDPA and applicable Do Not Call requirements.

Such communications may relate to Cyclect’s services, solutions, events, insights, campaigns, announcements or other business information.

Where required, we will obtain your consent before sending marketing messages to your Singapore telephone number. You may withdraw consent or unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe instructions provided in the relevant communication or by contacting us.

If you withdraw consent, Cyclect may still contact you for non-marketing purposes, including administrative, contractual, operational, safety, compliance, legal or service-related communications.


6. Disclosure of Personal Data

Cyclect may disclose Personal Data, where reasonably necessary for the purposes stated in this Privacy Statement, to:

  1. Cyclect’s related corporations, subsidiaries, associated companies, affiliates and business units;
  2. employees, officers, directors and authorised representatives of Cyclect;
  3. IT service providers, website hosting providers, cloud service providers, cybersecurity providers and data storage providers;
  4. CRM providers, analytics providers, marketing platforms, email distribution platforms and campaign management providers;
  5. recruitment agencies, background screening providers, referees and HR service providers;
  6. professional advisers, including lawyers, auditors, insurers, consultants and tax advisers;
  7. contractors, vendors, subcontractors, agents, partners and service providers who support Cyclect’s business operations;
  8. public agencies, regulators, law enforcement authorities, courts, tribunals and other authorities where required or permitted by law;
  9. parties involved in corporate transactions, restructuring, merger, acquisition, financing, transfer or disposal of business or assets; and
  10. any other party to whom you authorise us to disclose Personal Data.

Cyclect will take reasonable steps to ensure that third parties who process Personal Data on our behalf are required to protect such Personal Data and use it only for authorised purposes.


7. Transfer of Personal Data Outside Singapore

Cyclect may transfer Personal Data outside Singapore where necessary for business, operational, technical, recruitment, IT, storage, analytics, support, compliance or administrative purposes.

Where Cyclect transfers Personal Data outside Singapore, we will take appropriate steps as required under the PDPA to ensure that the transferred Personal Data receives a standard of protection comparable to the protection under the PDPA.


8. Protection of Personal Data

Cyclect will make reasonable security arrangements to protect Personal Data in our possession or under our control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks.

Such arrangements may include administrative, physical, technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the Personal Data and the risks involved.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Cyclect does not guarantee that Personal Data transmitted through the Site or stored electronically will be completely secure.

You are responsible for ensuring that any Personal Data you provide to Cyclect is accurate, complete and not misleading.


9. Retention of Personal Data

Cyclect will retain Personal Data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, used or disclosed, or as required or permitted by law.

When Personal Data is no longer required for legal or business purposes, Cyclect will take reasonable steps to cease retention of such Personal Data, or to anonymise it, in accordance with the PDPA.


10. Accuracy of Personal Data

Cyclect will make reasonable efforts to ensure that Personal Data collected by us is accurate and complete where the Personal Data is likely to be used by Cyclect to make a decision that affects you, or disclosed to another organisation.

You should ensure that all Personal Data submitted to Cyclect is accurate, complete and up to date. You should inform us promptly if there are changes to your Personal Data.


11. Access, Correction and Withdrawal of Consent

Subject to the PDPA, you may request:

  1. access to Personal Data about you that is in Cyclect’s possession or under Cyclect’s control;
  2. information about how your Personal Data has been used or disclosed by Cyclect within the past year, where required under the PDPA;
  3. correction of an error or omission in your Personal Data; or
  4. withdrawal of your consent to Cyclect’s collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Data.

Cyclect may require information from you to verify your identity and process your request.

Where permitted under the PDPA, Cyclect may charge a reasonable fee for processing an access request. If a fee applies, we will inform you of the estimated fee before processing the request.

If you withdraw consent, Cyclect may not be able to continue providing certain information, services, responses, updates or opportunities to you. Withdrawal of consent does not affect Cyclect’s right to continue collecting, using or disclosing Personal Data where such collection, use or disclosure without consent is required or permitted under applicable law.


12. Cookies, Analytics and Tracking Technologies

Cyclect’s Site may use cookies, pixels, tags, analytics tools, reCAPTCHA, CRM tracking tools and similar technologies.

These technologies may be used to:

Where you submit a job application, CV, resume or recruitment-related information to Cyclect, we may collect, use and disclose your Personal Data for purposes including:

  4. verifying information provided by you;
  5. conducting reference checks, background checks or pre-employment screening where appropriate;

Cyclect may retain unsuccessful candidate information for a reasonable period for future recruitment consideration, unless you request otherwise and we are not legally or operationally required to retain it.

Where you interact with Cyclect in a business capacity, we may collect, use and disclose your business contact information for business communications, relationship management, service discussions, procurement, vendor management, partnership discussions, marketing updates, event invitations and related purposes.
