Cyclect was named overall winner of the WIPO Enterprise Trophy at the WIPO-IPOS IP for Innovation Awards, jointly administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS).
The award is Singapore’s leading recognition for enterprises that have achieved material business growth through the strategic development and application of intellectual property. Assessment covers the commercial impact of IP creation, the quality of IP management practices, and the degree to which intellectual property has contributed to the company’s competitive position.
For Cyclect, the recognition reflected the group’s investments in proprietary engineering systems including its patented lubricant-free Organic Rankine Cycle power generation unit, the FIDAS runway debris detection system developed with Changi Airport Group, and the LINQ wheelchair platooning system developed with CAG and Nanyang Polytechnic — each representing original engineering development with commercial application in the company’s core sectors.
The WIPO Enterprise Trophy positioned Cyclect as a credible innovator within Singapore’s industrial engineering sector — a relevant distinction for clients and investors assessing whether an engineering partner brings proprietary value or operates purely as a commodity contractor.
