Cyclect Electrical Engineering Receives EcoVadis Gold Medal in First Sustainability Assessment

Cyclect Electrical Engineering received the EcoVadis Gold Medal in its first sustainability assessment, placing in the top 5% of the global electrical and construction installation industry on environmental, labour, ethics, and procurement criteria.

Cyclect Electrical Engineering received the EcoVadis Gold Medal in its first formal business sustainability assessment, placing the group in the top tier of performance within the electrical, plumbing, and construction installation industry globally.

EcoVadis is an international sustainability ratings platform used by over 100,000 companies to assess the environmental, social, and ethical performance of their supply chains. Ratings cover four domains: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Gold Medal status is awarded to companies scoring in the top 5% of their industry category.

Cyclect’s strongest performance was in the environment and labour and human rights categories. The Gold Medal outcome benchmarks Cyclect against peers in the same sector internationally, providing a meaningful indicator of above-average sustainability governance rather than merely the presence of a programme.

For Cyclect’s clients — particularly multinationals with supplier sustainability requirements and ESG reporting obligations — EcoVadis Gold status provides a standardised, independently verified reference point. It reduces the due diligence burden associated with engaging Cyclect as a contractor or partner, and signals alignment with the sustainability expectations embedded in procurement policies across pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and data centre sectors.
