Cyclect completed the electrical and roustabout construction for the 2017 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix — the tenth consecutive year the group has delivered this scope for the world’s only Formula One night race.
Cyclect’s scope for the 2017 edition covered the pit building, pit straight, spectator marquees, VIP race suites, Paddock Club, F1 Village, Padang stadium, and other circuit zones. The team handled ad-hoc infrastructure construction including media centres and the race-winner podium, managing late-stage scope additions and alterations within the standard four-month installation window.
A decade of consecutive engagement on a project of this scale reflects not only technical competence but the operational trust built through repeated, reliable delivery under stringent event requirements. Formula One race organisation demands electrical contractors who can execute complex, time-critical installations without incident and restore the circuit to road use immediately after the race concludes.
Tan Ee Wei, Executive Director, noted the tenth-year milestone as a mark of sustained client confidence in Cyclect’s operational capability and team consistency across a decade of high-stakes event infrastructure delivery.
