Cyclect Facilities Management was awarded the term contract to serve as managing agent for Singtel’s data centre portfolio in Singapore, covering mission-critical facilities including Kim Chuan, DC West, and Telepark.
Singtel data centres handle telecommunications and IT infrastructure that underpins digital connectivity for enterprise and government clients across Singapore and the region. As managing agent, Cyclect is responsible for the day-to-day operations management of these facilities: maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, managing vendor and service provider relationships, ensuring compliance with facility-level performance and security standards, and supporting Singtel’s operational requirements for uptime and reliability.
Data centre facility management is among the most demanding FM mandates in terms of technical complexity and consequence of failure. Cooling system reliability, power system integrity, and physical security are non-negotiable — and any lapse in operational performance carries direct commercial and reputational consequences for the data centre owner and its clients.
Cyclect’s appointment by Singtel as managing agent for its data centre portfolio reflects the operator’s assessment of the group as a provider capable of sustaining the operational discipline required for critical digital infrastructure at scale.
