Cyclect announced a partnership with Ecocentric, an Australian technology company specialising in electrical device monitoring, under which Cyclect becomes an integrator and reseller of Ecocentric’s Numen monitoring platform.
Numen continuously monitors electrical devices by measuring the electrical supply signature at the switchboard via a non-intrusive clip-on current transformer — a passive installation approach that does not require modification to monitored equipment. The system reports on device performance, operational state, and power consumption in near real-time.
For Cyclect’s industrial and facilities management clients, the platform delivers three operational benefits: early detection of electrical arc faults that could lead to fires; granular energy consumption data enabling accurate load management and carbon footprint accounting; and predictive maintenance indicators that allow teams to intervene before equipment failure rather than responding to unplanned downtime.
The partnership extends Cyclect’s maintenance and facilities management offering with a technology layer — moving from reactive and scheduled maintenance toward condition-based monitoring. It is particularly relevant to clients in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data centre, and commercial building sectors where equipment reliability and energy efficiency are both operational and regulatory priorities.
