Cyclect Energy, ShuangLiang Eco-Energy, and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) jointly hosted a seminar on waste heat recovery on 27 March 2015, attended by approximately 70 participants including energy managers, plant engineers, and consultants.
The session covered practical system design considerations for heat recovery in heating and cooling applications, with case studies and worked examples of absorption heat pump configurations. Topics included system sizing, economic modelling, payback analysis, and operational parameters relevant to plant-level energy management decisions.
ShuangLiang Eco-Energy, the world’s leading manufacturer of absorption chillers, presented alongside Cyclect as a technical partner. The event was part of Cyclect Energy’s quarterly seminar programme, which the group subsequently repositioned as a broader “Energy Community Reception” — a recurring networking and knowledge-sharing platform for energy practitioners in Singapore’s industrial and commercial sectors.
