2010: Cyclect Completes Installation of Transformers The Ride at Universal Studios Singapore

Cyclect delivered the world's first installation of Transformers The Ride at Universal Studios Singapore, completing all mechanical and electrical works, systems integration, and commissioning to Universal's international safety and performance standards.

Cyclect completed the mechanical and electrical installation of Transformers The Ride at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) — the first installation of this ride globally. The project was delivered in collaboration with Resorts World Sentosa and Universal Studios’ international project team, and required full compliance with Universal’s engineering, safety, and operational standards.

The ride’s technical core is an advanced motion platform combining 3D high-definition projection, hydraulic motion systems, and integrated special effects including wind, fire, and fog. Cyclect’s scope covered all mechanical and electrical installation works, systems integration, testing, and commissioning across these interdependent components.

The project was executed under a compressed timeline with no comparable prior installation as a reference benchmark. Cyclect’s engineering team worked directly with specialists from Universal Studios Japan to adapt heavy-lifting and precision installation techniques developed in offshore and oil and gas environments to the requirements of the entertainment sector.

Successful delivery established Cyclect’s credentials in ride and show installation and led to ongoing engagement with Universal Studios Singapore across subsequent attractions including Revenge of the Mummy, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase, and multiple further installations.
